So This Is The New Year...
Well I guess I will get all sappy and say that 2011 has been a pretty damn good year. Started SUUUUPER rocky with me being unemployed, single, sad, lonely, lost blahblahblah, but then the move to Austin happened and everything just seemed to fall into place. I have met some of the GREATEST people here and I cannot wait to start this year off with a fresh perspective on life, love, and happiness....

5. Cults by Cults
I first heard this album right before Austin City Limits and was lucky enough to see them at The Parish which was sold out when they had their after show. I was immediately obsessed with the melodies. They were so catchy and the video for “Go Outside” is pretty amazing as well.

Home for the Holidays
Well here I am in West Texas at my parents house listening to Christmas music sitting by the Christmas tree. And for the first time, I really feel the Christmas spirit. I was just so busy and working and what not in Austin that I didn’t really have time to enjoy the season. I’m glad I took a week off from work to really spend time with family and friends. Definitely something I needed....
